Lisa Milas, Esq.


Lisa R. Milas practices primarily in the area of creditors’ rights representing lenders in all facets of foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation and evictions. She earned her B.A. from Hofstra University in 1991, and graduated from the Jacob D. Fuchsburg Law Center, Touro College in 1994.  She is admitted to practice in the State of New York, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western, Southern, and Northern Districts of New York.  Lisa is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Hudson Valley Bankruptcy Bar Association, and the American & Legal Financial Network, and served on the Strategic Planning Committee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.  She is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy-related issues, has been published in the USFN Report, and manages regular client training and updates.  Lisa is the captain for Island Harvest, a hunger relief organization on Long Island, New York.
