William B. Schiller, Esq.
William B. Schiller founded the firm in 1998. The firm’s managing partner, his major areas of practice include creditor’s rights, including; foreclosure, bankruptcy, collections and loss mitigation. Bill was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1988. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York, and the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a graduate of the State University College at Oneonta (B.S. 1982); and the Jacob D. Fuchsburg Law Center, Touro College (J.D. 1987). He is co-chair of the Bankruptcy Committee of the American Legal & Financial Network, and a member of the New York State Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Legal League 100, and the Mortgage Banker’s Association. Bill is the current treasurer, and past-president of the Capital District Bankruptcy Bar Association, and a current member, and past-president of the Upstate New York Creditors Association. He served as the Section Chair of the Consumer Bankruptcy Committee for the American Bar Association, and was a member of the Local Rules Committee for the Bankruptcy Courts of the Northern District of New York. The 20009 winner of the Nicholas S. Priore Advocacy and Professionalism Award, Bill is a frequent lecturer on the topics of bankruptcy and foreclosure.
